On Monday morning, he once again tapped into the scene, and put hip-hop star and girlfriend of Lakers’ guard Nick “Swaggy P” Young, Iggy Azalea, on blast with a crippling diss.
It is true, Nick Young did claim that a dolphin tried to kill him. As for Azalea, well, she hasn’t exactly made a lot of friends in the music industry. Why? We’re not quite sure, but Flores has never led us astray in the past.
As expected, Swaggy P was not too thrilled.
Young is half correct. Flores’ job is to talk about sports. But the reason why anchors like Flores, Scott Van Pelt, Kenny Mayne and the late Stuart Scott broke into mainstream popularity was their ability to relate to pop-culture.
Was Flores’ jab a bit stiff? Sure, but it was also incredibly funny.
